Tall quarto; (xiv), 569pp. A Fine copy in a Fine illustrated dust jacket (faint extremity wear); in publisher's blue cloth lettered in gold at spine and upper board, which is also ruled in blind. Downes describes "Marriage of Figaro", "The Mastersingers of Nuremburg", "Aida", "Carmen", "Tales of Hoffmann", "La Boheme", "La Tosca", "Der Rosenkavalier", "Love of Three Oranges", & "Wozzeck". With over 80 illustrations by Alberta Sordini; new piano arrangements by Leonard Marker. A classic Merle Armitage design with two-page title. Discography at rear lists the LP recordings and retains its 'Musicator' (BMI Recorded Music Locator) which enables the reader to conveniently locate and listen to any passage from these operas. For our California customers - we are required to collect CA sales tax on all purchases shipped within the
state (unless we have your valid CA resale certificate on file). The appropriate amount will be added when
your order is processed.
RETURNS. Any purchase can be returned for any reason; we will (cheer)fully refund the purchase price if
notified within one week of receipt and the book is returned in the same condition (shipping charges will
also be refunded if the book has been incorrectly described).
Shipping terms
All domestic orders include FREE USPS TRACKING and are usually shipped within 24 hours via Priority or Media Mail.
Overseas orders shipped via USPS Airmail at cost unless other arrangements made. Shipping costs are based on books weighing 2.2 LB, or 1 KG. If your book order is heavy or oversized, we may contact you to let you know extra shipping is required.
