viii+234 pp., 8vo, recased with new paper label in contemporary style hard case, excellent condition bar a very few light pencil marks. Bridges recalls the relevance of classical and heathen antiquity to biblical creation narratives, and how in some strange ways that supports and parallels biblical evidence. A pleasant change from those Victorian theologians who thought the earlier parts of the Bible just took over ancient heathen myths. Size: 8vo.
