This is the second installment of the Texas novel by James A. Michener. Michener constructs narratives around families and communities as they develop over time in historical areas. Some of the best vignettes in fiction can be found in his novels. Texas is no exception. This particular copy is a first edition, first printing of the second volume in the set. The book itself is in fine condition, though there is some scuffing at the base of the spine. The dust jacket is in good to fair condition.
