Two slight marring spots front cover. Binding solid. cm. Fifty-six steel engraved plates. A monumentally popular manual and the author's first work which went through countless editions. This edition with additional material -- "An Introduction to Isometrical Drawing, And An Essay On Linear Perspective And Shadows." The author, an architect and teacher was a professor of Drawing at the Maryland Institute. HITCHCOCK 788, for the Seventh edition, this edition not noted. Tight copy, bright and clean text. Contemporary brown sheep spine lettered in gilt, marbled endpaper. Very good.
