Hardback, tooled red cloth 1st Edition in this form 1888 Excellent very well illustrated Text Book on Military topography. 236pp., folding plates a number coloured, including early Theodolite, one repaired. One folding sketch close to Staff college and another in rear pocket. (no obvious listing of contents of rear pocket) A few blemishes to boards and modest stains, wear to corners and head and tail of spine. Overall good+.
