RARE First American Edition of this noted late nineteenth century Textbook of Surgery, translated from the Third and Fourth German Editions by John Rogers, MD and Benjamin T. Tilton, MD; edited by Lewis A. Stimson, MD. Volume I, translated from the Third German Edition, covers the principles of surgery and surgical pathology, also discussing general rules governing operations and the application of dressings, and has four hundred and forty-one illustrations. Volume II, from the Fourth German Edition, discusses Regional Surgery and has four hundred and seventeen illustrations; and Volume III, from the Fourth German Edition, continues the discussion of Regional Surgery and has five hundred and twenty illustrations.
