Book Condition" Very Good -; wear to head and tail with small fabric tears; bumped upper and lower tips; lower front tip is curled from shelving. No DJ. Maroon cloth boards and spine with bright gilt lettering on the spine; embossed borders on boards. 657 pp 8vo. It was recognized in the 1920s that the training of engineers was deficient in one phase or another of the technology of petroleum production. The author's principal purpose in preparing this books was to provide a text or work of primary reference for petroleum engineering students in that part of their curriculum which pertains to the technology of oil field development and petroleum production. A clean very presentable copy.
