First Edition in German of the Comintern's 5th Enlarged Plenun theses and resolutions from March and April, 1925. The American delegates to the 5th Enlarged Plenum of ECCI included William Z. Foster ["Dorsey"], James P. Cannon, and John Williamson (YWL) for the majority; C.E. Ruthenberg ["Sanborn"], Jay Lovestone ["Powers"], and John Pepper for the minority. Cannon and Pepper were appointed to the Political Commission of the plenum, while Foster and Ruthenberg were appointed to the Commission on Trade Union Unity. The main report was delivered by Grigorii Zinoviev, which set the line on the partial stabilization of capitalism and advanced the slogan of Bolshevization of communist parties. James P. Cannon delivered a speech on the problems of Bolshevization of the American party and the question of a Labor Party in America on March 30, 1925.
