Includes twenty engraved portraits, an engraved title, and a smaller engraved portrait. Full calf, black spine label, marbled edges and endpapers, unpaginated (about 1.25" thick). A rough copy with much cover wear, broken hinges, split text block, age-toning and soil to several of the portraits, one portrait detached and heavily chipped, another with a chip at the center, text pages quite clean with some occasional wear to the margins, title page darkened and spotted, first two text pages corner clipped, names on both engraved and standard title pages.
