The book was originally published in 1885.Jerry McAuley was the founder of the Wayer Street Mission in NYC. Jerry McAuley was a common river thief who first saw the light of the gospel in Sing Sing Prison. This is the story of his journey to starting a rescue mission to help others find the gospel in the same way he did. Follow him through sixteen years of his life and work at the Water Street Mission, read the testimonies of those he led to Christ, and be inspired by his passion for the lost. This book is in excellent condition with minimal wear. Cover looks great with almost no wear. The book is fully intact with no torn or missing pages. Very light toning to the pages.
