The first edition of this charming children's work containing loosely inserted records of children's rhymes. The first edition.Illustrated with colour vignettes by Rhoda Chase.Collated; 'Miss Jennia Jones' and 'Lazy Mary' records present. Lacking 'The Farmer in the Dell' record.These records were produced by the Columbia Graphophone Co.With words and stories from Ralph Mayhew and Burges Johnson.Undated; dated 1918 via Jisc. In the publisher's original pictorial paper covered boards. Boards lightly age toned, with small loss of paper to head of front board. Internally, firmly bound. Pages clean and bright. Two of three records present only. Records with light handling marks and minor chips to perimeters. Two closed tears to pockets holding records in place. Very Good.
