Corners good condition. Boards good condition red polished calf leather, gilt borders, the outer edges of the boards are also gilt, few general marks. Page edges good condition top edge slightly darkened, all marbled. See above and photos. Internally Hinges good condition intact. Paste downs good condition marbled. End papers good condition marbled, subsequent end papers tanned and foxed, there is a piece of paper pasted to the first free end paper with a hand written personal message dated Easter 1865.
