In "The Dark Forest", hidden strategies are devised against the aliens. Finally, in "Death s End," humanity makes a last stand in a universe where civilizations prey on each other for survival. The series is a rich narrative of interstellar conflict, political intrigue, philosophical reflections, and human resilience. Of these three individual books, "The Three Body Problem" and "Death's End" are first printings. "The Dark Forest" is a second printing. A very nice set of the trilogy. Basis for the Netflix series, "The Three-Body Problem." Very good to near fine in like dust jackets. "The Dark Forest" (the only second printing in the lot) shows two small areas of color offsetting from book to underside of dust jacket at head and heel of spine.
