Illustrated with 8 full page black and white plates. The plate associated with page 106 is actually the frontispiece and has a tissue guard. The plate associated with page 142 is loose. No dustjacket. Bookplate of Ernest Francis Leslie Ellis pasted onto front pastedown. Lower board rubbed and partially soiled. Front hinge cracked but the upper board is stable. Pastedowns and endpapers lightly tanned. First and last dozen or so pages lightly foxed. Overall, the book is in a good+ condition.
