First Edition. Gore Vidal’s copy from his library in Italy with his engraved bookplate depicting his home, La,Rondinaia, in Ravello. With the estate ink stamp “From the Library of Gore Vidal” on the front flyleaf. The book is foxed, otherwise very good. Books with Vidal’s Italian bookplate are scarce.
