Billy Proctor, resident legend of Echo Bay, BC, recounts almost a century's worth of experience with this collection of stories, memories and local knowledge of the central BC coast region around Blackfish Sound. She is the co-author of Full Moon, Flood Tide and Tide Rips and Back Eddies with Bill Proctor (Harbour Publishing, 2003, 2015) and the author of Drawn to Sea (Caitlin Press, 2013). She lives with her husband, Albert, in Echo Bay, BC.
