Folio. First edition. Original illustrated paper boards. Printed by W. S. Cowell, Ltd. Illustrated by the author with colour lithographs. Rebacked with red cloth. Both boards creased and worn. Crayoning to front board partially erased. New endpapers. Bookplate of Andrew Murray to the flyleaf. Title and following page with paper repair at gutter lower margin with resultant glue stain to title and the following few pages. Five erased faint illustrations to blanks by a child's hand in colour crayon. Some finger soiling. Good -. The third adventure written and illustrated by Edward Ardizzone. Scarce.
