A large hardcover, with dust jacket and original slipcase, measuring 8-3/8" by 11-3/8" and containing 120 non-paginated pages. Photographed at "some twenty islands of the Caribbean chain ranging from St. Thomas to Dominica," the volume contains more than 150 non-frontal male nude photographs in color and black-and-white, accompanied by brief story-line descriptions, of "the first days of Man" (it begins, "Once there was a time in Eden, before a rib was fashioned into woman"). From the inside front flap, "we follow Man through his first experience and adventures in the forests, the caves, the mountains, and the sea around him. We relive with him the discovery of the miracle of the human body, the joy of knowing no shame, the seeing of a world when all was new and bright."
