Wells', a printing error marking this edition. This is the first American edition, which preceded the English edition. Cream colored binding, front board has the large purple Henry Holt insignia as its centerpiece, gold on top page ends, other page ends untrimmed. Nice Firm Clean copy ! 'The Time Machine' worn off front board, nothing on spine. Hinges are starting to wear. Interior is complete and in very good condition. No foxing. Extremely rare. Size: 16mo.
