First edition. 8vo., silver-stamped black cloth on spine and rear board with black-stamped silver illustrated paper front board in unclipped green/orange/black/white illustrated dustwrapper with green/orange illustration on front flap and b&w photograph of the author on rear panel, charcoal endpapers, b&w illustrations and photographs throughout, (xx), 284pp. Near fine with slight cocking to spine and faint wear to corners in very good dustwrapper with 1" closed tear to top of front panel and 1/4" closed tear to bottom front panel with 1/4" triangular chip to top right corner of rear panel and two 1/16" chips to foot of spine and closed 1/4" tear to bottom of rear panel. This said, a nice copy of an unusual and reasonably scarce book. With an especially fine photograph of the author on the rear panel.
