Ballantine paperback original first edition, with Vincent di Fate cover art, and "First Printing: April, 1972" on its copyright page with no other edition or printing information. This is a shelf-worthy reading copy in good+ condition, marred only by a remainder mark across the top of the text block, a shallow crease in its front hinge, some wear at top and bottom of spine, plus some very light wear to cover edges and corners. Its binding is tight and square, with no crease in its spine or back hinge. Covers are bright and unmarked. Pages are unmarked and unworn, with unfaded publisher's yellow stain around edges of the text block. As with all Space Age Book purchases, I will ship this book in a moisture proof zip-loc bag, padded in bubble wrap, inside a sturdy box to assure it reaches its new owner in the same condition as my description.

Terms of Sale are per ABE Books standards and your national consumer laws.
Shipping terms
- Items will be carefully packaged to assure they arrive as described.
- All shipments will be via US Postal Service unless requested otherwise. Standard shipping within the USA will be via USPS Media Mail. Priority shipping within the USA will be via USPS First Class Mail.
- My current Standard shipping rate within the USA is US$4.00 for the first book, and US$2.00 for additional books in the same order.
- There are two situations where I will refund to the buyer a portion of the postage charged by ABEBOOKS: (1) Separate orders placed on the same date for shipment to the same address will be shipped together, so I will refund half of the postage paid for the first book in each such second and subsequent order. And (2) Books described as "paperbacks" in my descriptions weigh less than other books, so I will refund US$1.00 of the paid shipping fee for the 2nd and subsequent paperbacks in the same order shipping to the same address.
