Breathtakingly beautiful condition on this FIRST EDITION, first printing (listing to self ion back cover, self-summary in front matter) from 1969 of Book #31 in the second Tom Swift series, which was comprised of 33 volumes written under the pseudonym Victor Appleton II. With colorfully decorated matte paper over boards & golden yellow spines/back covers, in 175 pages + 1 page advertising other series, a plain frontispiece, internals, & endpapers by illustrator Ray Johnson. From a single owner collection, condition is Fine: cleanest & brightest copy we have EVER seen! Looks like it came from the store yesterday! Covers bright, pages white & unmarked. Binding straight & strong, hinges intact. Virtually flawless save for very slight rubbing/bumping to corners. N0 DJ, as issued (picture covers never came with them).
