The production of Tony Hillerman's Indian Country Map & Guide has involved a cast with diverse and creative backgrounds.

The producer, or "Maestro" for this publication is the owner and founder of Time Traveler Maps, Frank Lister. His life long experiences as a planner and designer of parks and touring programs, combined with his involvement with native cultures both as an archeological worker and developer of educational tools has provide him with the conceptual foundation for orchestrating the Hillerman map. As with other Time Traveler products, Lister has assembled a team of experts around him to produce this unique thematic map.

The primary player in this endeavor it the best selling author Tony Hillerman. Research and editing was conducted by Florence C. Lister who is a foremost authority and highly published author on Southwest archaeology. Digital topography: Ken Perry of Chalk Butte, Inc in Boulder Wyoming and Cartographer Mark Stroud of Moon Street Cartography in Durango, Colorado added the line-work , text and icons. Illustrator Peter Thorpe (illustrator for the Hillerman series) designed the cover and embellished original art around the map.
