HARD TO FIND /Can You Top This? is a legendary comedy joke book written in 1945 by vaudeville veterans "Senator" Ed Ford, Harry Hershfield, and Joe Laurie Jr. It compiles the best jokes from their hit 1940s NBC radio panel show where comedians competed to out-humor each other jokes were the most laugh-out-loud funny of all and Laurie's came in a close second. By today's standards, Ford's jokes might be perceived as offensive to some but he still had a great sense of humor. The pages are turning brown from age and as this was till the wartime paper, it is fragile. No unwanted marks. 1940's Home station WOR Saturday night hit radio show last 30 minutes. These three comedians told joke after joke on a radio show (that gave this book compilation its title), each trying to outdo one another. This the book based on these wise crackers funny bones.
