Boston: Oliver Spear, 1817. First Edition. 12mo. 311,(1 errata)pp. Frontispiece and 6 plates. Contemporary tree sheep. Lacking spine label, small portion of leather at foot of spine chipped and small portion of adjacent rear cover, front joint cracked but cords holding; text block very good, fore-edge margin of frontispiece chipped, short tear in another margin. Howes S337 calls for 8 plates as does Sabin 79898. Sales history of this book show that copies sold all have 7 plates, not 8. ; 7 plates.
