Reviews
Topps Baseball Cards is a huge, expensive photo collection of all Topps cards issued since their inception in 1951. Each year's selections come with a brief summary of the season and its achievers, a price range of the cards, and a quiz. An overall index includes records. The portraits are about half actual size and vary in format and clarity. For libraries that can afford it, this dazzling book is an appealing browsing item; those wary of mutilation may restrict access. For a comprehensive price catalog The Sport Americana Baseball Price Guide (Edgewater Book Dists., Box 586, Lakewood, Ohio 44107) is preferred. Morey Berger, Monmouth Cty. Lib., Freehold, N.J.
