Clean decorated binding from the Young Patriots Series. Attractive solid book. Blue cloth boards with brown and black decoration and lettering on cover, gold lettering on spine. No bumping or fraying. Binding is tight and square, hinges are sound. Clean cover, clean pages and text block edges; previous owner inscription dated 1902 on front free endpaper. Six full page illustrations by J. Watson Davis. 227 pages + publisher's advertising at rear of book.
