Heinemann. UK. 1971. Hardback with dj. First edition. 'The Towers of Silence' by Paul Scott. Please note: an ex lib copy. Although this is an exlib copy of this book, it is scarce in first edition. Dj is unclipped and good all round with little rub to edges. Now protected in removeable book sleeve and not adhered to book at all. Boards are pale grey and bear no titles to spine so this may be library binding, very good condition. Contents: various label removed from front leaving some areas of rub and a stamp to front stating the book is discarded from a library. One other stamp to copyright page and a stamped number to last page A few dark stains to some pages. Book is packed and sent with care. Seller Inventory # 10000580
