Hardcover; Hardcover: Limited First edition of 350 copies of which this is # 204 and is signed by the author. Previous owners name on title page. White cloth boards illustrated with coat of arms shows soil and edgewear. Title in gold on black cloth spine is worn, spine ends are frayed. Front hinge starting to tear. Illustrated endpapers are slightly oxidized. Page edges are lightly oxidized and foxed. Text pages are clean. Interesting history of the Town of Islip, Long Island, New York and its inhabitants. Author was town historian. B/W sketches by the author throughout the book. Nice tight binding. ; B/w Illus; 8VO; 160 pages.
