About this Item
First edition. Just a bit of spotting on the page edges, near fine in an about very good dust jacket with chips, tears, and creases along the edges, and a bit of toning and spotting. A better than usual copy of this western novel, made into the moody and unusual William Wellman film, shot in color but with most of the film's sets, costumes, etc. in black and white, starring Robert Mitchum and Tab Hunter and with Carl Switzer (best remembered as Alfalfa from Our Gang) as a 100 year old Indian.
