Octavo. 6.25 x 9 in. 300; 308 pp. Illustrated with 25 (volume one) and 14 (volume two) black & white reproductions of photographs plus each with frontispiece and color fold-out map at rear. Near fine in original olive-green cloth with decoration and lettering in gilt to spine and boards, top edge gilt. An ex-library copy from the Case Memorial Library Seminary Foundation (Hartford, CT) & Pitts Theology Library at Emory (Atlanta, GA) with the occasional embossed stamp, check-out slip and sleeve on rear paste-down endpaper, hand-lettered labels on lower-spine and contemporary Pitts Theology Library label affixed to front pastedown. Off-setting to endpapers, slight dulling to gilt on spine with subtle sunning, fore-corners lightly bumped. Overall, however, a nice, square and bright copy, free of any non-library marks. Part of the Hartford Collection, confirmed by Pitts as deaccessioned material. Seller Inventory # 10163
