Sterling served in the most remote Texas Ranger camps on the Rio Grande, and eventually became the commander of all Rangers, the Adjutant General of Texas. Six-Guns 2141 “Has chapters on the Bandit War and material on Sam Bass, Frank Jackson, Gregorio Cortez, and other Texas badmen.”.
