Alex Brumbaugh has been in the chemical dependency field since 1983, and in education since 1967. For 9 years, he was director of Project Recovery, the largest provider of chemical dependency treatment services in Santa Barbara County. He is currently Director of Project Development for the Santa Barbara Council on Alcoholism and Drug Abuse, and Project Director for a CSAT Recovery Communities Grant. He has been an Associate Faculty Member in Human Services at Allan Hancock College in Santa Maria, California, and is a Registered Trainer for the National Acupuncture Detoxification Association. He has published professional articles in the Journal of Substance Abuse Treatment and Addiction and Recovery Magazine.
