For some time, we have tried to offer an exhibition of this nature, however, the scarcity of credible material has made this very difficult. The present collection was formed over the past twenty years and includes many rare and representative pieces from four large cultures of central China. While there is much academic work to be done in researching these early Chinese cultures, one of the very few mediums of expression which remain with us today are ceramics of these early periods.
