The first edition of this work as published in Paris in 1804, titled Voyage à l'ouest des monts Alléghanys, dans les états de l'Ohio, du Kentucky, et du Tennessée, et retour à Charleston par les Hautes-Carolines. The first English edition was published in London in 1805, with a second edition and an abridged edition following the same year. An excellent account of Francois A.
