Scarce. Maud Humphrey is considered by many to be the best illustrator of children's books in the late-19th Century, and rhymes and stories and jingles reflect children's literature of the late-Victorian period. Internally, the illustrations are in very good to near-fine condition on glossy leaves. Overall, the book is solid and in good condition. The cover retains its attractive coloring, although it shows considerable wear around the edges and the spine strip is half removed. Seller Inventory # 052718-16
