Indianapolis: Bobbs-Merrill, 1918 160 pp with B&W drawings in text. Further adventures of Jack Keefe, a bush-league baseball player whose letters formed "You Know Me, Al," after he is drafted into the Army in World War l. Text is clean, tight and unmarked, a contemporary gift inscription on front endpapers .Endpapers are unevenly yellowed. Green cloth boards with pastedown showing a cartoon of Jack batting the Kaiser's head out of the park. Boards are in very good shape with no damage. Dust jacket is intact with yellowing and chipping and loss to spine end. Front flap of the dust jacket has instructions and mailing address for mailing the book by just attaching the front flap to the rear of the dust jacket. In mylar wrapper. Size: 5.5" X 7.5". First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good/Good. Illus. by Crerie, Frank.
