About this Item
A smart and very scarce first edition of this charming novel on decadence from Nicholas Christian. First edition. Very scarce. A philosophical novel focused on the idea of decadence, set in four parts entitled: ploughing the soil, sowing the seed, reaping the grain, and gleanings. Written by Nicholas Christian, a British philosopher and scholar. In the original brown cloth binding. Externally, smart with minor rubbing and light bumping to the extremities. The odd small mark to the boards. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright with the odd spot. Light spotting and minor age toning to the endpapers. Very Good. Seller Inventory # 903T79
