A very scarce title in any condition, this Rare, 1949 Review Copy of Truman Capote's second book is in Absolute Pristine and Unread condition. The book is kept in a beautiful black custom clamshell case with velvet interior and marbled accent. The front and back covers of the book itself are in near Perfect condition and the dust jacket (not price-clipped and still showing its original retail price of $2.75) shows hardly any wear at all. The dust jacket has been placed in a Brodart protective cover for added protection. The binding is tight and is square without spine lean and the pages are white, crisp and clean and there is no writing (stamps or otherwise) in this book.
