A complete guide to the practical growth and cultivation of the ornamental shrub, the tree rose. With chapters on buds, stocks, shoots, labelling, pruning, shaping, and more. Written by A. H. Bosanquet, a British horticulturalist. In the original green cloth binding. Externally, smart with rubbing and light bumping to the extremities. Fading to the spine and board edges with the odd small mark to the boards. Light loss to the head of the spine with the odd small split in the cloth. Front joint just starting but firm. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright with scattered spotting and light age toning to the extremities. The odd crease or handling mark to the page edges. Ink marks to viii and ix with a contemporary ink inscription to the half title. Bookseller's label to the front pastedown. Good. Seller Inventory # 921T89
