First edition and first printing. Hardcover. 247 pages. The true first printing in darker brown cloth binding. Features text by Matthiessen and numerous color photographs by Eliot Porter. A very good copy in cloth boards with a slight foreword lean to the spine and a faint scratch to the front panel and in a near fine dust jacket with some minor wear and a scratch to the front panel.

Libraries, institutions, and accredited dealers in the United States can be sent books with invoice.
