Armorial bookplate of Sir Lionel Lawson Faudel-Phillips. One volume, in 2 parts with printed card case and cloth ties. Case has tears to the edge of the cloth spine, up to 7cm and is a bit grubby. The two paper backed parts are in near fine condition. This volume, one of seven, covers Cedars, Hornbeams, Scots pine, maples, Sequoia, etc. Coloured frontispiece and title page, 78 fine photographic images, usually whole plate and containing a person or two for scale.
