First edition. Hardcover. Review copy with slip laid in. A collection of 38 poems along with 25 section prose/poem memoir. Includes a copy of the July 1975 issue of Poetry magazine where this book was reviewed rather harshly by Joseph Parisi. Also included is a typed letter in a hand addressed envelope from Heyen to Parisi in which Heyen savages Parisi and his review. A highly amusing and vitriolic response to a nasty review.
