Very clean brown cloth boards with black decoration on cover, black lettering on cover and spine. No fraying or wear; slight horizontal crease at upper spine from bumping. Binding is tight & square, no cracking. Pages and edges are clean, with clean endpapers. No names, writing or marks. Translated by Alexander Teixeira De Mattos. Black and white frontis illustration of man and woman standing on the deck of a ship. 316 pages. Originally published in French as Le Formidable �v�nement (1920).
