Franklin Library, Franklin Center, Pennsylvania, 1978. Limited Edition of "The Greatest Books of the Twentieth Century". Fine. Leather Bound, without dust jacket, as issued. Illustrated by John Collier. Accented in 22 kt gold. Printed on archival paper with gilded edges. The end sheets are moire fabric with a matching silk ribbon page marker. Smyth sewing and concealed muslin joints. This brown book is bound in full leather with 2 hubs on the spine. Only owner's book plate on page facing half-title page. 8-1/4" by 6-1/4", 322 numbered pages includes 50 pages of other relevant material. Square, clean, unmarked and not damaged in any fashion. Were it not for the book plate, this book would grade as "like new".
