It was the profound conviction of the author that he was not. In 1966 the Canadian government, for the first time in Canadian history, asked the Supreme Court of Canada to, in effect, rehear the case. By a majority of 8 to 1 the justices voted to uphold the conviction. Steven Truscott was released from jail in the summer of 1969, although he is on a lifetime parole. He still maintains his innocence. Illus. Seller Inventory # 003825
