4to. [30], 496 ff. Contemporary blind-ruled vellum, titled in manuscript on spine; covers soiled, remnant of paper spine label. The Spanish Franciscan Andreas de Vega participated in the sixth session of the Counter-Reformation's Council of Trent. This is his defense of the decree of the justification of faith promulgated on 13 January 1547 and a response to John Calvin's Acta Synodi Tridentinae cum Antidoto (Geneva, 1547).
