Tropicals

PROFUSELY ILLUSTRATED in full-color photography with accompanying descriptive captions. "Gordon Courtright's 'Trees and Shrubs for Temperate Climate,' now in its third edition, has long been regarded as the msot useful pictorial sourcebook of landscape plants suitable for the western United States and similarly moderate climates. An equally stunning visual compendium of mature specimens, 'Tropicals' serves the same purpose for gardeners, landscape architects, contractors, and nursery professionals in Zones 9 and 10. Trees, shrubs, and vines are grouped together, and each plant's photograph is accompanied by a description that includes that plant's dimensions, native region, family classification, cultural information, and common name(s). While aimed primarily at residents of tropical climates, this book has much to offer plant enthusiasts living in protected Zone 8 microclimates, plant lovers traveling to the tropics, and greenhouse gardeners everywhere who wish to experiment with these exotic plants." 155 pages. *NOTE: Due to size/weight of book additonal shipping cost will be required for out-of-U.S. shipment.
