First English edition 1712. Two volume set. Engraved frontispiece to each volume. Pages 262 to 316 has worm damage to the gutter of the pages (some text loss), volume one. Some very light marking throughout, else nice clean copy. Inner hinge of volume one slightly weak. Both volumes are bound in a contemporary full panelled calf. The top of the spine of volume one is split along the edge and has another split down the middle. the bottom of the spine is also chipped and frayed. Some generally rubbing mostly to the raised bands and edges. Volume one has 603 pages and volume two has 599 pages. Still a good copy in contemporary binding.
