The Truth About Geronimo: Life With The Apache Scouts, Britton Davis, Yale University Press, New Haven, CT, 1929, 9.5 x 6.5 inches, 253 pp. Mylar wrapped tan dust jacket with black lettering to front, back, and spine; black ink illustration of Geronimo, repeated twice on front cover. Dust jacket has a few small chips to top edge, one ½" chip each to front cover and bottom edge of spine. Good condition. Gray boards with red lettering to spine. Very slight bumping to spine. Small inscription from Christmas 1955 to first free endpaper. Very good condition. First Lieutenant Britton Davis (1860 - 1930) was a soldier in the United States Army; he served during the Apache Wars in the 1880s and commanded two companies of Apache Scouts.
